The history of my land, our culture, our customs and our people.

A story of our ancestors that I carry and tell to never be forgotten. It is a portrait of the many hectares divided and given to couples who lived off the land, through subsistence agriculture. For many, a dream opportunity, but for others, just a fresh start. Place of passage for travelers and goods, between Lisbon and Alentejo, Pegões is today a landmark in the history of Portugal and the Portuguese. 

My Land, features 2 dancers who, through dance, will portray how life was led in those times. 

This land is mine and belongs to all of us... It belongs to all those who started, who built, who abandoned and all those who still remain here today.
