Born and raised in Montijo since 1990, Fábio began taking his first dance steps at just 7 years old.
In 2000, he was accepted into the Escola de Dança do Conservatório Nacional (E.D.C.N.) in Lisbon, where he graduated as a professional dancer in 2008. During his 8 years of training, he was invited to dance ballets, The Swan Lake and The Nutcracker with the National Ballet Company (CNB). In 2008/2009, he continued his studies at one of the best contemporary schools in the world, P.A.R.T.S. – Performing Arts Research and Training Studios, in Brussels, Belgium, where he received a scholarship from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation that same year and where he worked with internationally known choreographers such as David Zambrano, Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker and William Forsythe. After completing the year at P.A.R.T.S., he joined the KamuSuna Ballet Company, under the artistic direction of César Augusto Moniz, dancing the company's entire repertoire. Later, with another member, he founded the Funky Flex Crew, a breakdance crew. Vortice Dance Company, with artistic direction by Cláudia Martins and Rafael Carriço, invited him to join the company, for the piece Dracula, a co-production with the Macedonian Opera and Ballet. With the same company, he also danced Soliloquy About Wonderland and the debut of Your Majesties at the acclaimed XVII International Festival of Miami, in Miami, Florida, USA.

In 2012, he was invited to join the cast of dancers in the opening show, Our Affections, from the European Capital of Culture – Guimarães 2012, being broadcast around the world. In the same year, among 76 choreographers from around the world, Fábio was selected to represent Portugal at the XVI International Festival of Choreographic Miniatures in Belgrade, Serbia, being crowned double winner, 1st Place and Best Artist Award (chosen by the public) with his ground R3ACTION. The video of her choreography was shared in countless countries around the world. In 2013, he joined the group Sentidosilimitados “Compota”, for real-time improvisation sessions. Still in 2013, Fábio left for Croatia to dance as a guest dancer for the Croatian National Ballet – Hnk Ivan pl. Zajc in Rijeka, opening the festival with the play Carmina Burana by Hugo Viera as main dancer for 20,000 people, getting the role of solo dancer in the piece Shut Up and Dance by Ronald Savkovic at the end of it. During his time in Croatia, he was also invited by the famous fashion designer, Yuraj Zigman and dancer Ivona Brnelic to dance and model at the S>B FASH!ON Show event. In the following two seasons, Fábio went to Eugene, OR, USA. He danced as a principal dancer and soloist as well as being a choreographer for the company, Ballet Fantastique. Halfway through his seasons on American soil, he was invited to be part of the jury panel at the XVIII International Festival of Choreographic Miniatures 2014, in Belgrade, Serbia. In 2016, he joined the team at the Teatro Nacional de São Carlos, in Lisbon, to dance an opera made by Goteborg Opera, The Flowering Tree by John Adams. Soon after, he debuted as a guest dancer, in the most recent piece by Vortice Dance Company, Fátima: The Day the Sun Danced. At the end of 2016, Fábio was part of the group of dancers at the Elite Model Look World Final 2016, which took place for the first time in Lisbon, at Campo Pequeno, being broadcast live around the world.

At the beginning of 2017, he premiered his new solo piece entitled HOME in the city that saw him grow up, Montijo. Shortly after the premiere of his solo piece, Fábio was invited to create a new piece, My Freedom, part of the 25th of April celebrations in the city of Montijo. The Show was a co-production with Cinema Teatro Joaquim D ́Almeida and the photo of their work was on the cover of the city's cultural agenda. After another debut, Fábio joined CDCE – Companhia de Dança Contemporânea de Évora as a dancer, under the artistic direction of Nélia Pinheiro. At the beginning of 2018, he opened his cultural structure U.V.A - United Visionary Arts, with his right-hand woman, Susana Jordão. Produced and premiered the play Sweet Christmas Night, creating the band Christmas Brothers from the show. At the end of 2018 and already in 2019, he danced two new productions by CDCE - Companhia de Dança Contemporânea de Évora, Complicities, with the famous and great guitarist Custódio Castelo, and Passage Dangereux at the festival's debut, Roof Dance Festival. Together with his wife, he created a new band, Back To Disco, associated with his entity, where they debuted as one of the headliners at the Feira de Santiago in Setúbal. In 2020, he joined the cast of the new production by CDCE - Companhia de Dança Contemporânea de Évora, Blindness essay, which featured a tour both nationally and internationally. 

After some downtime due to the pandemic (Covid-19), it premiered in 2022, with its artistic direction and that of Susana Jordão, a new production entitled My Fado My, where it is preparing to join all the other productions on the road. In the same year, and at the invitation of the Portuguese symphonic metal band, Glasya, he was responsible for producing the launch show for their latest album, Attarghan. The show also featured the opening of one of the “national treasures”, Albaluna, reviewed by LOUD! Portugal, highlighting both the quality of the artists, the organization and the event. The show was also considered by Sounds from Apocalypse as “one of the best metal shows of the year”. In 2023, together with the Municipality of Montijo, he created a dance production My Land - A Story About the Colony, portraying the history of the settlement of Pegões. Recently, he produced the concert to promote the single "Merchant of Illusion" by the band Albaluna, and is already preparing in 2024 for a national tour of his play My Freedom included in the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the 25th of April in Portugal.

Fábio continues to dance, produce and also carry out technical work and technical production for countless bands and shows, as well as being and continuing to be a road manager, designer and lighting technician for some bands and countless productions. He is a lighting technician at places such as Cinema Teatro Joaquim d´Almeida, Caramelo Prod, Timeout Lisboa, among others. In addition to being a dancer, choreographer, producer and teacher, he also has extensive experience in show production, graphic design and video capture and editing. He also had the privilege of working with world-renowned choreographers such as David Zambrano, Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, William Forsythe, Ronald Savkovic, Megumi Nakamura, Nicolaas Marckmann, Rui Horta, Rui Lopes Graça, Renato Zanella, among many others. And with musicians such as Custódio Castelo, Nuno da Câmara Pereira, Manuel de Oliveira, Rui Massena, Joana Carneiro, Halie Loren, Incendio Band, Portland Taiko, among many others.
